Give children equal access to both parents.

The Issue

Children in the state of Connecticut currently do not have equal access to both parents when the parents are no longer together. Even though our state recommends reasonably equal time with both parents after separation, archaic ideas persist in our court system that award most of the parenting time to mothers. Fathers(and some mothers) are relegated to the role of spectators in their own children's lives. Children need both parents to become all they can be. It's common sense: give loving, caring, and financially supportive parents equal access to their children now!
