We are almost seven months into the custody hearings to bring Cheyanne home. It has been one-sided. Neither parent has been able to testify or call anyone to stand on their behalf. Every court hearing has been the same. DCFS is saying they need more time. Both parents have been through parenting classes and all kinds of testing. Today was just another slap in the face when they were told they were wasting the court's time and all hearings would be by zoom call. These poor parents have repeatedly said they need to do this, but nothing is enough. It is a decrease in that they are treated so poorly and even by her father.
