Hey everyone, I really need help and support from my village. I live next door to a Saltbox house in Chesterton, Iv had problem after problem with the people they place in there. It’s literally getting worse every time someone new moves in. Iv lived in my house for 4 years now and have two young boys (a 3 year old and a 10 month old) I’m recently single so I have to deal with this on my own. Tonight it got worse again, this time there was armed police with rifles outside my house. My three year old is terrified. Iv had these ex cons doing meth in my entry, off there face on monkey dust keeping my kids awake till stupid o’clock, Iv had my garden broken into so many times, my car messed with, my house has been eyed up so many times. Iv had a staffy roaming around in my garden (no idea what temperament the dog has) as I haven’t had a fence in over 16 weeks. I was told it was an act of god so it’s not there problem. My baby’s can’t play in there own garden as you don’t know what that dogs capable of, it’s not even worth thinking about. I had a lady blatantly looking through my car windows and my living room windows eyeing up what she could take, I then caught her in my garden, eventually she was evicted and the police came around looking for her. When I asked what she’d done, I was told she’s extremely dangerous and that I need to lock my doors and ring 999 immediately. Then there was Dave Hibbs, the local thief, he was removed for attempting and actually breaking in people houses in the area, and guess what? He’s now back again! Lucky me, not only is he back but there another 3 massive men with him, not forgetting the dog. I’m at the point now where I’m scared in my own home. Why don’t I just move right?! This is my home that Iv created many memories in with my baby’s, my three year old has grown up here. He loves his little home, we’re right by the school and I’m near my family. Also why should I have to move? I’m not the problem, not forgetting the house prices are crazy atm, I can’t get the size of house I’m in atm for the same price I pay now. I’m on my own, I don’t have two incomes coming in. What I’m asking for is if I can get a petition made up from the council, could I ask for you’re support to help me remove this Saltbox house once and for all. If not for me but for my baby’s. Please.
