Hello,
My name is Stormy Toro and I am the wife of Steven Sparrow. On Saturday night/Sunday morning 12/22, something really interesting happened at a CVS near orchard st. Just to keep this short, my husband and an associate of his that I don’t know were arrested because they fit a description of men that just robbed that CVS with a knife. My husband calls me from the precinct and I ended up going down there myself to ask questions directly. This is the 7th precinct in manhattan; which my husband had a problem with back in October and pursued a police brutality suit. The arresting officer informs me that my husband, Steven Sparrow was being charged with being an accomplice to a robbery and he also had a knife on him and was threatening employees. In addition, that associate he was with had a knife on him when searched. The following morning, I spent the day back and forth to the court to see if Steven would be seen and to speak with his legal aide beforehand. He was seen at around 11pm and I had already been home. My husband calls again and explains to me that they weren’t going to let him go home. From there, Monday morning I went online and checked if his info was finally online to view via inmate look up. To my shock, his charge is now ROBBERY IN THE 1ST. With that information along with Steven telling me they let the man he was with, walk out. I would love to speak more with someone to fill in some details left out. Also, Today I was contacted by a lawyer who used a great scare tactic for me to pull 10,000 out of my pocket that I don’t have, had informed me that my husband now is also being charged with robbing an underage girl by knifepoint for $1. These new accusations are not even being processed correctly. Steven Sparrow has not been interrogated, questioned, asked to participate in a line and not given medical attention even after asking more than 3 times. I just need to know that there is someone out there willing to help or at least believe me.

My family consists of Steven, our son Grayson and myself. My family is nincomplete for the holidays because someone outside of us decided since he fit a description, he didn’t deserve to be home with us. I’m fighting for my husband right now but I feel like I’m failing. I just need someone to tell me that this isn’t right and believe that my husband is more than the mistakes he’s made in the past.
