Endaro Mahanubhavulu, Andriki Vandanamulu - 

We are from Kakarla Village in Ardhaveedu Mandal, Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh. It is from this village Sri Thyagaraja Swamy ancestors moved to the Thiruvarur which is in present Tamil Nadu. Later the family shifted to Thiruvayyaru. As Sadhguru had roots in our village, to honor his tremendous efforts towards the Carnatic music Govt of AP issued a G.O in 1982 to construct a memorial to Sri Thyagaraja Swamy in Kakarla village. In 1983, Padma Vibhushan Sri Mangalampalli Balamurali Krishna garu laid a foundation for an auditorium in Kakarla. Since then every year utsavams are being conducted twice regularly in Kakarla marking Sri Thyagaraja Swamy's Pancha Bahula Pushyami Aaradhana and Vaishaka Sudda Shasti Jayanti. Many eminent musicians like Sri Mangalampalli BalaMurali Krishna, Sri K.J. Yesudas etc participated in these utsavams.

Sri Thyagaraja Swamy Peetham was registered in 2000 under the chairmanship of Padma Bhushan Sri Sripada Pinakapani garu along 4 other trustee members. A land of extent Ac 5.23 was donated by then Managing Trustee. In 2011, the then District collector conducted a construction committee meeting and issued directions to the local revenue authorities to safeguard Sri Thyagraja Swamy Peetham assets from any future encroachments. The west side hill was to be used for Memorial purpose.

In 2013, Sri P.V.R.K Prasad IAS (Retired) garu became the Chairman to Sri Thyagaraja Swamy Peetham. During his term, Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams came forward in the interest of developing a Carnatic Music Center in Kakarla which is the ancestral native of Sri Thyagraja Swamy in Andhra Pradesh. TTD requested the Peetham to alienate the rights towards them from Peetham, hence the Peetham registered a gift deed over the land of extent Ac 4.605 towards TTD in 2015 with an expectation of developing a Carnatic music center in this land.

Few of the villagers who are politically influenced and failed to grab the Peetham in their earlier attempts gave false notices to TTD during the acceptance of gift deed, and made the TTD to restrain from accepting the gift deed. The Peetham approached the Prakasam District Collector requesting a clear enquiry into this matter and a no litigation certificate from his authority for the purpose of gift deed acceptance by TTD. In 2019, The collectors office directed the local Revenue authorities to conduct an enquiry and submit a report immediately. Whereas the local authorities, kept this orders aside for nearly 2 years and upon continuous follow ups they submitted a false report  under the influence of villagers who wants to grab the Peetham. There was no enquiry done but still they submitted a report falsely. The report was prepared by the influence of the locals who are intended to grab the Peetham. 

In 2019, the locals who wants to grab the peetham land encroached the land and laid cement road. The land is a private property having a clear patta land. The cement road was laid in this land forcefully despite of the protest lodged from Peetham side. In 2016, another encroachment happened in the peetham land by the locals with an intention to grab the peetham land. An Anganwadi construction was done in Peetham land forcefully. We approached Honorable High Court, AP and file a Writ petition. The construction is stopped now. 

Now the locals who are still intended to grab the Peetham started giving trouble by doing an illegal and forceful construction on the land which belongs to Government on the western side to the Peetham, abutting to the hill. This construction is happening just behind the present existing Peetham. We again lodged a complaint with revenue authorities on this.

Thus the locals in the village who are politically influenced are managing the local revenue authorities and been giving continuous trouble to Sri Thyagaraja Swamy Peetham. The local revenue office instead of protecting the Peetham assets as per the 2011 meeting orders, colluded with the locals and  giving troubles to our progress.

We therefore, invite the attention of every music lover and Sri Thyagaraja Swamy admirers in the world towards our petition and request your conscience that this petition may be passed by your consent, so that the Peetham's gift deed will be accepted by Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams to develop Carnatic music center in Kakarla village without any further obligations. The peetham need your valuable support in overcoming the locals political influence. Your support will give us voice which will gain the attention of the higher authorities in the State and Nation in establishing a befitting monument to Saint Sri Thyagaraja Swamy in his ancestral native which is pending since last 4 decades.
