The 54 acres to the east of East Cobb Park is up for rezoning and will go before the Planning Commission and Board of Commissioners on May 6 and May 20 for final approval. The developer, Isakson Living, is proposing 3-story, 4-story and 5-story buildings with 31 additional duplexes, for a 748-unit Senior Living Facility, with over 1.12 million square feet in addition to parking decks for 882. The size and scale of the project is too much for this area, and we believe this rezoning would have a negative and detrimental impact on the surrounding communities including East Cobb Park.

The developer, Isakson Living, is proposing a FIVE STORY, 978 unit Senior Living Facility. The size and scale of the project is intensive. We believe this rezoning will have a negative and detrimental impact on the surrounding communities including East Cobb Park.
