Lhanbryde's most well-known landmark is to be demolished following a decision of the Moray Council to make way for a new Co-op store directly opposite a well-used family business that sells the same products and has been around for generations.

We, the residents of Lhanbryde, are calling on The Co-operative Group not to tear down a beloved old building and this vital part of our heritage. We ask that you build your store in the centre of our village, where your business would be more sustainable rather than threatening local jobs and running roughshod over Lhanbryde's history. 

Your company has the power to stop this vandalism and put local residents first.
