The Civic Integrity Act: Restore Service, Accountability, and Ethics to American Leadershi
The Issue
I’m a concerned citizen who believes leadership should be rooted in service, not self-interest. I’m not a politician—I’m someone who cares deeply about the future of our democracy and the people it serves.
I feel that a president should have a moral, educational and physical standard.
We, the undersigned, believe that public office in the United States must be redefined as a civic duty—not a path to personal wealth, power, or legacy. Our democracy deserves leaders who serve with integrity, humility, and firsthand understanding of the challenges facing everyday Americans.
We call for the adoption of the Civic Integrity Act, a comprehensive reform framework that includes:
- Presidential Eligibility Reform: Age cap aligned with retirement norms, fluency in two languages, doctoral-level education, military or humanitarian service, and annual physical fitness testing.
- Campaign Finance Overhaul: Ban on private fundraising and rallies, publicly funded digital-only campaigns, strict spending caps, and real-time transparency.
- Congressional Reform: Term limits, performance reviews, salary tied to national median income, and bans on post-office enrichment.
- Elevating Service Professions: Major pay increases for teachers, nurses, and social workers, plus federal support for underserved communities.
- Post-Partisan Leadership: Candidates must reject tribalism and embrace shared values across party lines.
Leadership should reflect the dignity of service—not the excesses of wealth or tenure. Sign this petition to demand a democracy that serves all—not just the privileged few.
