Smiley the Blind Therapy dog, just passed after 15 years, after battling Cancer. Smiley was a special dog, with a permanent grin and happiness about him, he seemed to affect all those who he met and tirelessly worked with all sorts of people as a comfort and therapy dog until his last days.

Rescue by his owner Joanne in 2004, from a puppy farm, Smiley was rescued and given a good home, despite suffering from dwarfism, which left him born without eyeballs.

Overtime Smiley's fame and inspiration grew, and he has appeared on Television,on the The Meredith Vieira Show, met Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Reverend Desmond Tutu and many others. Smiley's work has extended from old age homes, to hospitals, to schools.Smiley also received citizen of the year from his home town of Stouffville, Ontario.

Smiley seemed to touch everyone he came in contact with and this dedication can go far. As such this petition is for the City of Toronto to dedicate the Golden Retriever statue shown below
