July 5, 2014, Adrian Garcia was killed by a speeding hit and run vehicle while riding his bicycle. Salinas bicycle community including friends and family of Adrian cemented a ghost bike near the location he past away (he flew 100+ yard from point of impact). The ghost bike has been placed where it will not obstruct vehicles and pedestrians. Please help us in showing the city of Salinas that this is not an "eye soar" but a international symbol to remind vehicles and bicyclist to be safe. And remembrance for bicyclist who have been fatally strucked like Adrian. Thank you and please share
