Hello all you wonderful supporters.
I’d like to Thank each and everyone of you for your continued support in fighting to get the Christmas Nativity show back into the heart of our beautiful City Perth. I have seen the council meeting minutes and listened to their audio from August 24, they are pretending that they don’t have my contact details and stated that they are treating this petition as “informal”, for the record the Chief Commissioner has all my details for I had a meeting with him on August 4 and handed him the petition and the numbers it was at on that day, it was still growing, the council don’t want to table the petition at the next council meeting, BUT we have the majority of the aspiring candidates for the Lord Mayor supporting the Christmas Nativity show to take place if they are elected, however as we all know in politics, promises and taking action are two different things. Out of all the aspiring candidates for Lord Mayor to be there is only ONE whom have gone the extra mile and signed this petition and that is Basil Zempilas, not only does he give his full support when talking to the media, he’s proven to defend us by signing this petition, he walks the walk not just talks the talk. We need a strong individual supporting us when it comes to our Christian traditions to be in charge of the City of Perth, it’s evident that although the majority of the candidates says they will bring it back, I can confirm that ONLY Basil Zemplias has stood out from the rest with his full commitment in standing with us the people!

Above is the link to the audio around 5mins in you can listen to the Deputy Chair, and the CEO discussing the petition, and 9mins from the end of the recording they go into more detail about the petition, unfortunately the information is not accurate that the Deputy Chair describes, she says she went onto change.org and looked at this petition and “took the time“ to read it and the comments, the description of your comments was not expressed as they were written when she verbally executed what people wrote on this petition, furthermore she said that my petition came from the Australian Christian Lobby when clearly it came from change.org, two different organisations completely, for the record I’m not part of any lobby groups, she also said that the main person from the Australian Christian lobby for this petition had the meeting with The Chief Commissioner Andrew Hammond, when again this is not true, I personally had the meeting with the Chief Commissioner. The Australian Christian Lobby had their followers write to the City of Perth, over a thousand people did write to the City that the Australian Christian lobby was heading, they were/are supporting the Christmas Nativity to be reinstated, and Christ to be left in Christmas, I am very grateful for their support.
I think the City of Perth needs to be clear on the facts they put on record in their council meetings when it comes to this petition so people are clear on the facts. They are trying to dismiss our petition and silence the 6,758 people that has signed so far asking to reinstate the Christmas Nativity show, it’s clear that they are ignoring thousands of people that wants the traditional story of Jesus Christ’s Birth to be told in the City of Perth.

I am waiting to hear back from the Chief Commissioner, I will keep you all updated.
Please keep sharing this petition so people will know that it’s cancelled by the unelected City of Perth commissioners, there is still time to get it reinstated. They think we should all be just fine with a watered down version of the Christmas Nativity the story of Jesus Christ’s Birth to be done with animated pictures on projectors put onto St George’s Cathedral. This watered down version is not acceptable nor will it be acceptable to give the Christmas Nativity the traditional biblical story of Jesus Christ’s Birth a skip this year.
We will keep going, many people have got in touch with me suggesting that they want to do a peaceful protest in the City of Perth to have the Christmas Nativity reinstated.

God Bless all of you and let’s not forget that we have ONE candidate that fully supports us, it’s important that people remember this when they look at who wants to be the next Lord Mayor for the City of Perth, this cancel culture needs to stop.
