I would like to be this voice that matters in this world, for a change to happen. Change is good, especially when lots of people keep complaining to park officials about an ongoing problem for years but no change.
Not only myself, but a lot of people go and enjoy their selfs at the city of Nitro, West Virginia Park. Some people even talk about how they can not go to this park because how this lake 'looks' or about a possible 'disease' growing in these waters. Their has also been a problem with trash being polluted within these waters, with no clean up being done. I have seen in recent time not only dead fish in these waters but also birds that will spin in circles then magically flop over an die from this potential 'disease' that is potentially growing in this lake waters. A lot of people go online an tell the City Of Nitro officials about these 'problems' but keep telling the people of this community that it is an issue only the 'Army Corps Of Engineers' can fix but yet no change has been made over these years. Hopefully a petition is what is needed for this change to happen. Hopefully when the lake waters are fixed, the people of this community that feel they can not go to The City Of Nitro Park, can go back an enjoy them selfs when this change does happen because it is unfair for people to go online an say they can not go to a park because of how the 'Lake Looks' or this potential 'Disease' of the City Lake. It is a crime for any person to harm any animal or wildlife but why is it not a crime for the 'Army Corps Of Engineers' to not fix wildlife dying within these lake waters. They say West Virginia 'Wild, Wonderful' but the City Of Nitro Park Lake is the complete opposite when wildlife keeps coming up dead from these lake waters. The People of this City keep voicing their opinion, but this petition is what this community needs for a change to happen. Let's work as a community for this change to happen.
