Last week a teenager in Dover Shores lost his life to a reckless driver.  Speeding has been a long-time issue in our neighborhood.  Not only do we have increased car traffic from subcontractors and NAC visitors, our neighbors are recklessly driving. 

Based on the the city’s traffic study, Dover Shores has a speeding issue.  We must have community support to make a change.

The City of Newport Beach has determined the following streets have the highest rates of speeding:

• Santiago Drive
• Commodore Road
• Highland Drive
• Mariners Drive
• Dover Drive
• Polaris Drive

The City of Newport Beach recommends speed reducing measures on the above streets and requires 70% of those residents to sign this petition.
