Not all Rottweilers, "pit bulls" and other deemed dangerous breeds are mean. All dogs have teeth therefore all dogs have the potential to be dangerous. The bully breeds have come a long way from the days of dog fighting and are bred specifically with temperament in mind. They are an excellent family pet and and can be trusted when proper ownership is involved. I am proposing that the ordinance of certain breeds being outlawed be lifted and a new ordinance be written that deals with behavior. I have a tentative plan to submit with this Petition.
