Kenilworth ave. S. is a major mountain thoroughfare. Allowing parking south bound during rush hour is causing traffic chaos. Traffic is backed up causing safety issues for residents trying to make turns off of residential side streets. People cut up on the inside lane only to have to cut back into the main flow of traffic. Residents cars parked on the street are at risk of being hit when people don't let them in. These cars also cause braking down the chain and the potential for accidents. Traffic gets stuck in intersections on main Street causing traffic backup on Main street and Barton street. This is also leads to potentially dangerous situations. These safety issues can be resolved by not allowing parking on Kenilworth ave S. From 4:00 p.m. Until 6:00 p.m. The city of Hamilton has made a big mistake in allowing parking on Kenilworth during rush hour. Please help the residents of Hamilton by signing this petition to show the city the error of its way.
