The Blakely Animal Shelter has been a no kill shelter for the last few years due to the hard work of volunteers and donations. Recently, someone new was hired to take over the Shelter and began euthanizing animals immediately with no efforts made to re-home them. It has been proven successful that the Shelter can run almost solely on donations made by the community and that with effort put forth, animals will be saved. This petition is to help city officials in Blakely see that WE WILL NOT STOP. These animals deserve a chance to be saved and to be shown love.
