TERRIBLE: Pritzker imposes new COVID-19 restrictions in Will, Kankakee

This week, the World Health Organization issued a statement urging countries to use the COVID-19 crisis to restructure economies and prevent climate change. Climate change? If you thought this was just a public health crisis, you were wrong. Democrats like Gov. Pritzker and Mayor Lori Lightfoot see this pandemic as an opportunity to restructure our cities and our state. 

Gov. Pritzker and Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot do not want Illinois businesses to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. They want a government bailout for Illinois and Chicago and they do not care who gets hurt in the process. That's why new restrictions on gatherings, business operations and individuals are going in to effect again. 

Effective Friday, Gov. Pritzker is ONCE AGAIN shutting down small business across Illinois - this time in Region 7 and Region 4. In Region 7, these are some of the new restrictions about to close struggling small businesses once again. 

Bars

• No indoor service
• All outside bar service closes at 11:00 pm
• All bar patrons should be seated at tables outside
• No ordering, seating, or congregating at bars (bar stools should be removed)
• Tables should be 6 feet apart
• No standing or congregating indoors or outdoors while waiting for a table or exiting
• No dancing or standing indoors
• Reservations required for each party
• No seating of multiple parties at one table

Restaurants

• No indoor dining or bar service
• All outdoor dining closes at 11:00 pm
• Outside dining tables should be 6 feet apart
• No standing or congregating indoors or outdoors while waiting for a table or exiting
• Reservations required for each party
• No seating of multiple parties at one table

Meetings, Social Events, Gatherings

• Limit to lesser of 25 guests or 25% of overall room capacity
• No party buses
• Gaming and Casinos close at 11:00 pm, are limited to 25 percent capacity, and follow mitigations for bars and restaurants, if applicable.

The citizens and voters of the State of Illinois cannot allow Gov. Pritzker to continue to impose these unconstitutional restrictions that are devastating small businesses, forcing them to close and destroying people's lives.
