BREAKING: IL Supreme Court sides with Gov. Pritzker, halts contempt hearing
Bad news: The Illinois Supreme Court has just sided with Gov. Pritzker and has halted Friday's contempt hearing proceedings in Clay County and other proceedings in Clay County. Illinois residents and businesses who have been the victims of Gov. Pritzker's thought that they would finally get justice on Friday. If Gov. Pritzker had been held in contempt of court, the people of Illinois would have had some sense of justice.
But the Illinois Supreme Court has sided against us, against we the people, this round. What's worse is that Gov. Pritzker has just issued new Mask Mandate Enforcement rules with heavy fines for businesses that violate the rules.
When news broke that Gov. Pritzker was being ordered to court for contempt hearings, some of us thought this fight was over, that we would get justice and our freedoms restored. CLEARLY, the fight against Gov. Pritzker and Mayor Lightfoot has JUST BEGUN.
Good news: We can win this fight but we need to take action now!
What do we need to do? We must organize on social media. We must call our state legislators and protest Gov. Pritzker's restrictions. And we must continue the fight in the courtroom. If we do not fight back, Gov. Pritzker and his forces of evil will strip us of any freedoms we have left. He will destroy our businesses, our churches, our schools, and our families. We cannot allow him to do this.
