Pat Robertson, the host of CBN's program, The 700 Club, has yet again made horrible and disgraceful comments towards women. In Robertson's latest attack on women, he calls for outright physical abuse of women for not recognizing their husbands as "the head of the household". See Robertson's comments below:

On Monday's broadcast of Robertson's television show "The 700 Club," he answered a question from a viewer named Michael about how to repair his marriage to a woman who "has no respect for me as the head of the house."
Robertson's response: "Well, you could become a Muslim and you could beat her."
Bizarrely, this comment elicited laughter from Robertson's co-host, Terry Meeuwsen.
Unfortunately, Robertson didn't stop there.
"I don’t think we condone wife-beating these days but something has got to be done to make her."
What he meant by "make her" is to make the wife "submit to authority".

By calling on husbands to take a position of authority and make their wives submit to them, Robertson continues to put women in danger of physical, mental and sexual abuse. His insistence that women are inferior within their own households is more than religious rhetoric. It is hate speech, pure and simple. Stop Pat Robertson's continued attempts of hate speech on the air by telling The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) to fire Pat Robertson as the host of The 700 Club, and never allow him to host or speak on their network again.
