This photos of this poor animal cowering from his handler  during training for a circus in Suzhou, Anhui province, China is heartbreaking. This mistreatment and cruelty to animals must NOT be allowed to continue for the pleasure of entertainment purposes. It is clearly obvious this monkey who is being forced to learn to stand on wooden  poles and ride a bike is being punished for making a mistake, the absolute terror in the monkeys body language and eyes shows clearly the brutality he/she is expecting from the man holding the chain cowering over him/her. This is completely sickening in itself barring the fact that monkeys will have the intelligence and understanding of a human child of 4 years of age.

We demand the Chinese authorities apprehend the handler in this photo and allow the charity Action Aid for Animals to arrange for this monkey to be taken to an ape sanctuary. The photo originally published on the page Click here to follow link
