As Developers continue with their large scale construction projects, the end result will be even more high rise apartments adding further strain on Infrastructure.
The Developers who profit from these developments should be made to pay for the new and upgraded infrastructure which will be needed, such as, a Sewage Treatment Plant, New Schools, more Public Open Spaces, including a Dog Park, and completion of our long awaited Airport Tunnel.
Urgent repairs and upgrades are also needed to our Sewage and Drainage system, and our crumbling Roads and Footpaths.
The UK are in the process of introducing a Community Infrastructure Levy, and we feel that something similar should be introduced in Gibraltar.
