What the Olive Press report should have asked is why, despite EU Directives, Gibraltar does not have a Sewage Treatment Plant, and is dumping sewage in to the sea? If the sewage had not been dumped into Queensway Quay Marina, it would have been dumped in to the sea elsewhere. 

Unfortunately beautiful Queensway Quay Marina is the closest bit of sea to where the work is being carried out, which is why it was dumped there.

The lack of infrastructure is even more serious as HM Government of Gibraltar continues to approve large scale developments. With the massive 7 hectare Coaling Island Land/Victoria Keys on the Governments Manifesto the problem will significantly.worsen.
