Did you know the Clarendon Park Community Center is home to the Garfield-Clarendon Model Railroad Club?  Tucked in a room right off the lobby, the G-C Model RR Club, founded in 1947, has called Clarendon Park home since 1963.  It’s enormously popular with kids of all ages. Almost 2000 visitors came to see the model railroad extensive layout during the October OPEN HOUSE Chicago weekend.

IF the Clarendon Park Community Center were demolished—that would be the end of the Garfield-Clarendon Model Railroad Club!
