I strongly disagree with the disposal of the stray dogs here in Sheshatshiu,labrador . Of course the dog attacks are a growing concern but it's. Not fair to the dogs they have to be killed cause some idiot owner don't want to look after the dog . It's NOT THE DOGS fault for doing what it's doing to survive. THE FAULT AND BLAME SHOULD be directed the people IN THIS COMMUNITY. The dog didn't choose to be casted aside, left to starve , and to survive on its own . That DECISION was made by IRRESPONSIBLE OWNERS! There should be a different course of action! And after the is a more human course of action put a policy in place for every dog owner to be registered in this town . So we know exactly how many dogs or cats are in town , what type and to whom they belong to . ! I'll be keeping an eye on my street for the strays that I feed . I'll be throwing all kinds of things at you if your trying to take them just to murder them. FIND THEM ACTUAL LOVING HOMES!!!!! I will not stand by and watch these strays disposed of as if they are garbage . They didn't choose this . Their owners decided their fate . And knowing the stray problem is never going to go away so they should be a animal rescue shelter so they are placed somewhere safe and warm and well fed NOT roaming the streets doing what they can to survive . And have people Dedicate their time to finding them homes using online resources. and have regulations and policies put in place to keep this from happening and controlled
