Too many homeless people die alone having been exposed to the cold in winter. This should not happen, and the Church opening its doors on cold winter nights and providing shelter and care to these people could help put a stop to this altogether. Shelters are often too full, and have to turn people away, so surely the Church should help look after the rest. Its the right thing to do and its a shame that we should even have to ask.
