The Canadian Governement needs to stand with Jewish Canadians - Bring our Families Home
The Issue
We call on the Canadian government to stand firmly with Jewish communities across the country and to take urgent, visible action to help bring the hostages home. In the face of rising antisemitism and unimaginable violence, Canada must lead with moral courage, advocating for the safe return of innocent civilians and ensuring Jewish Canadians feel seen, supported, and protected. Silence is not neutrality. We demand clear action rooted in justice, human rights, and unwavering solidarity.
Judi Weinstein Haggai, a Canadian-Israeli, and her husband, Gadi Haggai, an American-Israeli, were kidnapped from their home on Kibbutz Nir Oz along with 73 others. After three months of holding out hope, their family found out that Judi and Gadi had been killed and their bodies were being held in Gaza. Of the 239 hostages taken into Gaza on October 7th, Judi and Gadi are still in Gaza with 59 other hostages. It is said that only 24 are still alive. It has been 578 days since. It is time for our brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, grandparents, cousins, and friends to be returned home.
We urge the Government of Canada to use all diplomatic channels, international influence, and humanitarian tools to secure the release of the hostages and to publicly reaffirm its commitment to protecting Jewish communities at home and abroad.
