I want Manchester United to change the satanic figure from the logo of the club

The Issue

Like most football supporters in the world I was introduced to the beautiful game when I was a kid and I have been a manchester united fan all my life. Recently I started wondering why the logo of Manchester United has the devil holding a 'pitchfork'. As a christian I strongly condemn the logo and I believe so many people around the world whether be them Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists or Jews, would not like to see such a satanic figure on the logo of the club that they support. Isn't there something more meaningful and symbolic figure that we can put on the log that would reflect the clubs history, resilience and success. Why choose a devil? What kind of message does that hold? The nick name 'red devils' it self isn't a problem because it was supposedly chosen to frighten the opponent teams, which is quite funny, but to put the devil on the logo is just outrageous. Moreover, why remove the three strips in a shield and replace is with something more controversial and grotesque. If the supporters of manchester united are people of faith and belief and are not the worshippers of the devil then why not remove it. For me, personally, to keep being a fan I'll have to ignore my faith, which I wouldn't be able to do. And I believe so many fans feel that way. So I request the boards of directors of the club to take this issue seriously. They'll have to listen to the voices of the supporters and remove the figure of the 'historic enemy' of the world from the logo so that many of us can avoid seeing the unwanted figure and to keep supporting our club without fighting our conscience and having no moral dilemma.
