stockings are outdated, itchy, uncomfortable and most importantly ugly. the st mary’s winter uniform would look far more attractive with white fold over socks (like the summer uniform). The junior school girls don’t have to wear them so why should senior school? Stockings are a distraction from our education. Constantly in class i am finding myself more focused on the tacky material scratching my legs. Teachers are tired of hearing us constantly complain about stockings and telling us off for not wearing them. so why not just get rid of them all together to save the comfort of students and to save the teachers handing out yard guards. I say it’s time to make a change once and for all to the St Mary’s winter uniform. #nomorestockings
