Hey Warriors!

We almost have 50 signatures on our Bloom Safe petition! Thank you all for being the first folks in this great movement to Make America The Safest Place To Be A Kid!  Every voice counts and every connection makes a difference. Our next goal is 100 signatures, so if you haven't yet, please take a moment to share our links with your friends and post them on your social media accounts!

ALSO, as of yesterday, we now have:

We are also working on creating a "Supporters and Endorsements" page on our website to show the names and logos of the warriors for children who have endorsed, supported, shared, and promoted "Bloom Safe: Make America The Safest Place To Be A Kid" to their connections, on their platforms, and through content creation and social media.  So, if you want to be featured with a link to your organization to let the world know that you want to #StartTheConversation because #PreventionIsPossible, please DM @realstevesimons or @bloom_safe on Instagram and let's do a collaboration!

For those of you who are already promoting #BloomSafe on your socials, please be sure to download the new logo to use in your posts, and please invite BOTH @realstevesimons AND @bloom_safe on any collab posts as we are still working on building up the followers on the new account, so inviting both will maximize our reach.  And, as always DM with the collaboration idea before just sending the post invite so we can coordinate our timing, etc for maximum impact and reach!

Ending CSA in our generation is a HUGE goal and worthy of our time, our voices, and our votes.  Every child deserves a chance to grow up free from sexual harm.  And for those who experience sexual violence (currently estimated at 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 13 boys, although many believe it is more likely 1 in 3 girls and 1 in 6 boys), every survivor deserves to grow up in a world where there are safe, trauma informed adults to turn to for healing and support.  No child should have to suffer in silence.  No child should have to carry the heartbreak of CSA for years before finding a community of warriors who will defend them, protect them, and get them the trauma informed help they need to start the healing journey.

CSA is a crime of opportunity.  Let's make this generation a generation that takes that opportunity away from all the would be perpetrators and shifts our cultural focus to follow peer reviewed, evidence based methodologies to raise awareness across our country, educate and train all those who work with or care for children, build on the foundation of Erin's law to provide children with an understanding of the fundamentals of body safety and basic anatomy that have been shown to be protective, ensure survivors have safe and well-informed adults they can turn to when they are looking for support in whatever contexts they find themselves in, and guarantee that the actual data-driven, fact-based science that provides such a powerful foundation for this work continues and accelerates to support ongoing legislative support at every level of government: federal, state, and local.

So, thank you, warriors, for helping Bloom Safe: Make America The Safest Place To Be A Kid reach congress, Trump, and RFK!  You are making a difference.  Your heart, your strength, your faith, and your bold spirit to defend our next generation are touching hearts and changing minds every day.  Keep up the great work of defending children, raising awareness, and sharing this movement with more people every day.  Let's see if we can't get this congress to be the first congress to actually unlock the full potential of our collective strength to unite and support all those who work with and care for children every day across this great country to finally have the resources they need to defend our children across every context from healthcare to foster care, law enforcement to survivor services, youth serving organizations to faith based groups, sports leagues to class rooms, and everywhere else children find themselves each and every day.  No matter where a child is, they deserve to be safe from sexual harm.  Let's make it happen!

Yours in the work sincerely,

Steve
