I'm going to be completely honest by saying that I never really cared too much about the BerenSTEIN Bears. Sure I had a few of the books, but unlike some people, it just was never one of those things that defined my childhood. If there was one thing I remembered about those lovable bears though, it was the spelling.

I was always a good reader, and I always spelled things right if I could help it. In my head, it was always pronounced Beren-STEEN or Beren-STINE, and NEVER. EVER. Beren-STANE.

Listen, I don't really care whether or not it was some mass delusion or something to do with parallel worlds, but I, as well as many others, clearly remember it being spelled Berenstein. That's how we read it, spelled it, and said it...and in the end, BerenSTAIN will always be WRONG.

So please, regardless of what caused this phenomenon, let's just take the path of the world into our own hands and change the name to what we know it is in our hearts.
