Hamisi Sub County is the largest in Vihiga County by square Kilometres and number of registered voters. Hamisi has a population of 156,000 people a number that is approximated to rise towards the forth coming general elections. This is a huge number to be administered by one elected Member of Parliament in addition to the  service centers where electorates have to travel long distances to access Constituency Offices. Women and Children, Old Aged and Youth are demotivated to access several opportunities within the Constituency because of what's involved in terms of distance and huge numbers of people being served.

To solve this, Hamisi has to be split into two Constituencies Namely Tiriki East and Tiriki West. This will enable constituents to receive services promptly and also reduce distance covered in search for the same. Secondly, the number of people served will be reduced by half, making it EFFICIENT, EFFECTIVE and with IMPACT.

I come from Tiriki East, we have faced this injustice in service delivery since independence. My people have inefficiencies  in accessing the CDF and other opportunities that exist within the Constituency because of distance and large numbers of people who are served in one center. Help me sign this petition and split Hamisi Constituency into two.
