Hello all, It's been four weeks since I delivered the petition, and I have finally received a reply from the BBC. Unfortunately, it's not the reply we'd have wanted. In fact, it's very wishy-washy and vague and doesn't - to my mind - accurately or fairly reflect upon the petition and the significant number of people who have taken the time to support, sign and share it. Here's what they have had to say to us, exactly as they said it; Dear Mark, Thanks for getting in touch. We appreciate that you feel strongly that there are numerous productions that deserved to be repeated on BBC4. We do try to ensure that we broadcast a range of programmes each week however, we appreciate that there's a vast treasure trove of drama's that deserve to be broadcast again to a wider audience. Although we can't guarantee anything, we've certainly registered your wish to see more classic plays being repeated. Thanks once again for taking the trouble to contact us.
