The outright cruelty to greyhounds exported to Macau for the racing industry has been well documented. Dogs are housed in inadequate circumstances and those deemed unfit for use are routinely euthanised in a cruel manner. Australia's ban on the export of greyhound dogs for this cruel industry will go some way to help alleviate the harm imposed on these dogs.
