For too long, Australian citizens have been stripped of the humble pocket knife, a tool that comes in many forms. Perhaps a Swiss Army Knife, maybe a multi-tool. It's something that grandfathers have passed down to their children for centuries, and now it is restricted to the home only. Furthermore, any person found with a blade in their pocket is in for a fine, including the honest people who respect the knife as a tool rather than a weapon. The government may as well ban phone chargers, because criminals can strangle people with the cables! See how ridiculous it is?
