The #RentStrike begins as soon as 20 million signatures are reached. It will end when a People’s Bailout has been passed. This will take a lot of organization, sidewalk tent and sign setups, and protests to spread awareness and get more signatures. We may even need to crowdfund social media ads.

1. Cancel rent and mortgages
2. Medicare For All
3. Pass a UBI of $2k per month until a year after the pandemic is over. Retroactive from January of 2020. 
4. Overturn Citizens United and ban corporate money in politics.
5. Place heavy fines on corporations who took coronavirus bailout money but still had layoffs. 
6. Raise taxes on the top 10%. 
7. Cut the defense budget down to $100 billion and practice “Swiss Neutrality”.
8. Implement workplace democracy setups that allow workers to keep executives and CEOs in check.
9. Abolish the NSA, DHS, ICE and the CIA.
10. End qualified immunity, ban police unions, ban the use of tear gas and rubber bullets. Build a new policing system from scratch and abolish the current policing system. 
11. Expand food stamps and public housing until no person is hungry or homeless.
12. Cancel credit card debt and school loan debt. Build a new credit system. 
13. Pass the Green New Deal
14. The people should be allowed to vote directly for major policies on the federal level every year.
