Bailee Andersen started this petition to The American Education System

This is a subject I have recently started thinking deeply about. I personally believe removing the letter ‘Q’ from any further education in the future will not do any amount of harm to our society. The letter ‘Q’ can be easily replaced in almost every word by the letter ‘Kw’. For example ‘quick’ would now become ‘Kwick’, and ‘que’ would now become ‘kue’ which yield the same number of letters and also now makes more sense educationally. Also there are currently 26 letters in the English alphabet. Eliminating the letter ‘q’ would bring the alphabet down to a nice even 25 letters.

I know this now poses a kwestion of changing the entire world around. This would not have to take immediate effect. Everything that has been previously and made and printed with the letter ‘Q’ on it would still be in the world and be completely valid, but everything in the future would just be made without the letter ‘Q’. All signs and keyboards would still have ‘Q’ but from then on they would be ‘Q’-less.

I hope everyone reading this sees the importance of deleting this letter from the English alphabet and will sign and support this petition.
