In this statement we detail concrete ways that St. Anthony's can enact policy, curriculum, and extracurricular changes that can make the school a more actively anti-racist space.

FULL STATEMENT

EDIT: Please note our language choice. We are calling upon SAHS to become "anti-racist" which is a step further than being "not racist." One is active while the other is passive. We acknowledge and applaud that SAHS is quick to respond to racist acts after they occur, but we are calling upon SAHS to institute policy, curriculum, and extracurricular changes that will help PREVENT racist acts/ideals. We are asking this beloved institution to LEAD THE WAY on Long Island.
