An Emmy award for the real queen Emilia Clarke

0 have signed. Let’s get to 10,000!

The last few days were quite overwhelming for Game of Thrones fans around the world. A lot of us were disappointed about some character arcs and how certain events have unfolded, and most of us are just sad the TV show that defined the last decade is finally over.

Unsurprisingly, the internet reaction was massive and over-passionate. It was to be expected and as big GOT fans we can only understand how frustrating the end of the show can be for many of us. However, we can also imagine how this can feel hugely frustrating and abusive for the people who gave this show their all. The creative process is always seriously hard, but we can never really know how emotionally, mentally and physically intense and stressful creating something like GOT can be.

So, we thought this petition could do the show justice and bring the bright side of the Internet up.

During the whole 8 seasons, the incredible talent of all Game of Thrones’ cast members left us amazed and in awe. But how Emilia Clarke has portrayed the extreme transformation of our beloved Daenerys Targaryen is hands-down beyond impressive. Seeing her acting getting more and more outstanding each year, knowing that she had to fight and to survive two life-threatening brain surgeries, and finally watching the stunning performance she delivered this last season.. It only seems fair to get her the Emmy award she deserves, for her excellence in the television industry.

Emilia is such a treasure and gift to humanity. She’s not only a phenomenal actress, but also a wonderful and genuine person. The Internet loves her. And God knows how hard it is to earn the love of the Internet. On every video, article, post featuring her, every comment praises how bubbly, joyful and full of life she is. If nothing else, we should all be grateful for GOT and HBO for bringing her into the light.

People of the Internet, let’s make positivity louder and give back! You can also show your support by donating to her charity SameYou helping to break the silence on brain injury. Even $2 can make a huge difference!

Finally, I’ve read that some actors were angry because they took the petition asking for a remake of Season 8 personally... Our message to you now is to take this one too very very personally: To Lena Headey, Peter Dinklage, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Gwendoline Christie, Iain Glen, Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner, Kit Harington, Alfie Allen, Nathalie Emmanuel, Isaac Hempstead Wright, Carice Van Houten, John Bradley, Rory McCann, Liam Cunningham, Conleth Hill, Gemma Whelan, Richard Dormer, Daniel Portman, Pilou Asbæk, Jerome Flynn, Joe Dempsie, Jacob Anderson, Hannah Murray, Ben Crompton, Krisotfer Hivju, Jason Momoa, Aidan Gillen, Charles Dance, Natalie Dormer, Jack Gleeson, Michelle Fairley, Richard Madden, Michiel Huisman, Iwan Rheon, Pedro Pascal, Indira Varma, Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, Rose Leslie, Tom Wlaschiha but also to George R. Weiss, HBO and to every single other human being or entity who contributed giving us the greatest and most fabulous show in TV history. Thank you! ❤
