Please sign this petition to put a stop to backyard breeders and puppy farms like "Gary Taylor" in South Australia

The issue

Puppy farms & back yard breeders exist in South Australia, Dogs are typically forced to live and breed in appalling conditions for the sake of profit. Mothers live in filthy pens surrounded by their own excrement. They are kept in dark sheds and denied basic veterinary care, even when their coats are matted, eyes are infected and teeth and gums diseased.

"Gary Taylor" from Aldinga Beach South Australia is well known to the RSPCA South Australia and South Australia Police for back yard breeding and animal cruelty, He has numerously been investigated by the South Australia RSPCA, but slips thru the legal system because of current legislations regarding animal welfare.

"Gary" the back yard breeder from Aldinga to this day is still some how selling puppies even with court/legal actions against him, The latest puppy he sold was just over the weekend 22/3/15, the buyers were told by concerned nearby neighbours that the puppy they just brought was from a backyard breeder known to the RSPCA for it and the puppy will likely become very ill over the next few days.

"Gary" advertises these puppies on Gumtree, The Trading Post and Local Newspapers claiming they are purebred, wormed and vaccinated These puppies are very sick when he sells them, Most of the puppies he sells are full of worms even though he advertises them as being wormed and vaccinated.

RSPCA South Australia doesn’t know how many of these facilities exist. They don’t know how many animals are suffering. Changed legislation need to be tougher for any significant fight against puppy farms and back yard breeders. If you have any information about puppy farms or back yard breeders, please call RSPCA South Australia’s 24-hour cruelty hotline on 1300 4 777 22.

Inspectors can’t investigate unless they know where to find these facilities. Please let's put a stop to "Gary" and all backyard breeders and show the South Australian Government we want them stopped now!!
