As Texas taxpayers, early education specialists, and parents, we are passionate about ensuring that the proposed free all day PreK program will provide high quality education and care with minimal disruption to the current public school system. In the interest of delivering quality PreK curriculum and PreK-specific facilities to the maximum number of eligible children in the least amount of time and with the greatest efficiency in terms of economics and expertise, we request that the state of Texas engage quality private providers of PreK education to implement the proposed all day PreK legislation.
