COALITION FOR PETS RIGHTS AND SHELTER REFORM -            STATE OF TEXAS

PLEASE SIGN PETITION :

We are 21 Century citizens and cannot stand the way pets are treated in Texas. Pets like all animals are sentient beings feeling same emotions and pain as we do and they depend on us.

WE ARE ASKING FOR SIMPLE EFFICIENT SOLUTIONS AT - ALL LEVELS - AND BEGINNING ON THE LOWEST ONES:

- City ordinances making mandatory for all pets to be microchipped, spayed and neutered with important fines for owners who do not comply. Actually using money given to "shelters" as « cities contracts" for microchipping, spaying and neutering campaigns.
- City ordinances making mandatory for pet's owners to have their yards fenced-in and their pets not allowed to roam free on public roads/streets with significant fines for those who do not comply.
- City ordinances prohibiting backyard breeding/puppy mills and the use of any kind of breeding device , all causing vaginal prolapses ; with very important fines and more for those who would not comply.
- City ordinances prohibiting any kind of breeding during said/decided/fixed amount of calendar time with significant fines for those who would not comply.
- City ordinances prohibiting the sale of pets in local or flea markets, in Craig List, or any kind of media add with significant fines for those who would not comply.
- City ordinances prohibiting dog fights and bets on with dogs with significant fines and more for those who do not comply.
- City ordinances enacting and enforcing strong welfare conditions in which pets can be detained as well as strong sanitary conditions with mandatory isolation Negative-Airflow rooms in any shelter.
- Cities creating a numeric register for recording owners of neglect of animals, dumping, animal abuse (including chaining, restraining, not providing adequate housing and health & safety conditions, etc), cruelty, bestiality, and creating laws and regulations for those who commit animal abuse to be banned from owning any companion animals for life.

We are asking for the above to be enacted on a COUNTY LEVEL.

We are asking for new State laws for the above and enforcement of the new and existing laws on a STATE LEVEL with a true willingness to achieve pet welfare and protection of their rights as sentient beings
