On June 12, 2016, the largest mass shooting in the history of the United States took place at the gay club, Pulse, in Orlando, FL. Not even an hour after the news broke that 50 people had been killed and 50 more had been injured, Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick posted the following bible verse on Facebook, "Do not be deceived, God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows." Obviously, a man who is quick to post this after ANY FORM of violence is NOT FIT FOR THE POSITION OF LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR. This man is a bigot and exceptionally dangerous in a position of power. Let's tell the Texas House of Representatives that we will not stand for one of our state leaders behaving this way.
