In Austin County, Kristin Lindsey performed an act of needless cruelty by killing a cat with bow and arrow, and then publishing a graphic image of the kill on social media.

If the cat needed to die, she, of all people, had the means to provide it with a humane and painless death. Instead, what she did caused pain and suffering.

My own cat, pictured above, looks so much like the one she killed, that seeing the picture of the arrow through his skull was like a punch in the gut to me. I can not repost that photo.

Thankfully, she has been fired, but that is not enough. I am petitioning that Kristin Lindsey's license be permanently revoked, and that she be legally banned from working with, or owning, any animals ever again.

As a cat fosterer, I have zero tolerance for her abusive behavior.
