Same-sex couples have been waiting many years for their right to marry in the United States, and today, that wait is no longer in existence.

Recently, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton stated that county clerks could deny same-sex couples marriage certificates citing religious beliefs for doing so.

A person who is unable to uphold federal law and encourages other state officials to go against it is no person to carry out such an important official position.

We call on the Texas House of Representatives to impeach Attorney General Ken Paxton.
