The company created a tacit policy as it pertains to non disclosure of salvaged or branded title status prior to purchase transaction by various non suspecting purchasers. The organizations thought process is that they have no legal obligation to disclose such pertinent information. According to Texas DMV laws this constitutes fraud. Automotive Promotions Consultants d.b.a Texas Auto Liquidators, d.b.a. Rent 2 Own HQ has and is operating under such standards and tacit policies as discussed above impacting hundreds if not thousands of customers over time. The company has already been investigated by the State of Texas Attorney General Office for structuring and predatory business practices for such actions in the past including swapping and rolling back clusters.

As a leasing company the industry is NOT regulated as a finance company which creates many loopholes. The President of the company , his agents , employees, representatives, and/or subsidiary companies have defrauded hundreds if not thousands of customesalvageing cars with salvaged vehicle history without disclosing such facts, selling cars with major defects and passing the cost of repairs off to the customer, selling cars without working speedometers, swapping out clusters, changing and/or altering original contracts with supplementals.
