Article XV, Section 1 of the Texas Constitution states:

“The power of impeachment shall be vested in the House of Representatives.”

This petition calls for the Texas House of Representatives to immediately initiate the impeachment process of Governor Greg Abbott for his Executive Actions which have damaged the economy and for his violation of the separation of powers required by the Texas Constitution when he entered into a $295 Million “no bid” contact tracing contract.
