The State of Texas is planning on executing Travis Runnels on December 11, 2019. Please ask the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles to commute Travis Runnels death sentence to a life sentence.

Travis was convicted in the death of a supervisor at an Amarillo prison shoe factory where he was serving a 70 year sentence for aggravated robbery.

Since arriving on Death Row, Travis has become an avid writer and spends much his time working out, reading, and writing.  With help of close friends, he has shared his experiences, life, and thoughts through a blog.  He has also become a published author and published two books.  Travis has continually set goals for himself and he reaches them every time.

Travis has always taken responsible for his past actions and the people he has hurt, but he can not change the past. He has made it his mission to work on himself, to always be learning, growing and improving so that he can contribute to society and give back in any small way possible.

Travis is not the same person he was 16 years ago.  Please support Travis in this fight for his life.  Ask the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles to see the man Travis is today and save his life.  Please commute Travis Runnels death sentence to a life sentence.
