Stephanie RodriguezDallas, TX, United States

Sep 5, 2017
Today, Tuesday September 5th, 2017 US attorney general Jeff Sessions on behalf of Trump (racist agenda) announced that DACA is rescinded meaning that DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) no longer will exist. We have been given a 6 month period or deadline to fight with everything we have to get congress to pass PERMANENT legislation (DREAM ACT)
Here is a timeline of the announcement:
1.) Your current DACA is STILL VALID until expiration date
2.) Initial DACA applications will NO longer be accepted after today’s date Tuesday September 5th, 2017
3.) Renewal applications are STILL ACCEPTED TODAY but must be submitted for renewal by October 5th, 2017! If your DACA expires before March 5, 2018 you MUST renew THIS year before October 5th, 2017
4.) Advanced Parole to travel abroad is no longer available. Any pending applications for advanced parole will NOT be processed and DHS will refund any associated fees!
5.) THE FIGHT IS NOT OVER
YOU ARE NOT ALONE, YOU ARE WORTHY, YOU ARE NOT DEFINED BY YOUR LEGAL STATUS AND I WILL FIGHT WITH YOU TILL THE END. WE NEED TO MOBILIZE, INFORM, AND FIGHT TO GET CONGRESS TO PASS THE DREAM ACT.
