First of all, I would like to sincerely thank everyone who has already signed this petition. Over 1000 Signatures!

Your support makes it clear that this issue affects many Tesla drivers across Europe — and that it’s becoming more relevant by the day.

Recent developments strongly suggest that Tesla is in the process of phasing out the legacy Autopilot and replacing it with the new FSD software stack. The goal appears to be a unified architecture that will eventually power all driver-assistance and safety features.

While this may make sense from a technical perspective, FSD (Supervised) is still not available in Europe, and for many drivers it is simply not an option — especially if it requires an ongoing monthly subscription. Despite this, well-established Autopilot features have already been removed or changed on newer vehicles.

This issue now affects not only the Model Y “Juniper”, but also newer Model 3 “Highland” vehicles. One of the most critical changes is the removal of the former intuitive double-click function, which allowed drivers to quickly and safely switch between Traffic-Aware Cruise Control (TACC) and Autosteer.

For many drivers, this results in:

a more complicated and less intuitive user experience, potentially safety-relevant situations (such as Autosteer and cruise control disengaging at the same time), and the loss of a feature that was expected at the time of purchase.

This petition is not opposed to FSD or technological progress.

Our request is simple and fair:

👉 We are asking Tesla to provide a safe and reasonable solution once the legacy Autopilot is fully deactivated — including for drivers who cannot or do not want to subscribe to FSD.

Now more than ever, it is crucial that we make our voices heard.

Please help by:
sharing this petition with friends, colleagues, or family members who drive a Model Y Juniper or Model 3 Highland, posting the link in European Tesla forums, community groups, and social networks, actively encouraging other Tesla drivers who are affected to sign.

The more signatures we collect, the greater the chance that Tesla will take this issue seriously and respond.

Thank you again for your support — and for helping spread the word.
