Tesco supermarkets have limited numbers of blue badge ("disabled") parking bays. Typically, most of these bays are occupied by drivers who are not disabled, and don't have a blue badge. This causes suffering to those who are disabled, as they have to park in bays which are further away (difficult for those with mobility problems) and which are unsuitable (they don't have extra space to allow a wheelchair, walking frame etc.) to be unloaded.

Tesco are unwilling to take any real steps against the people who persist in parking in these bays despite not having a blue badge. This may be because of badly trained staff, but the real reason has to be that Tesco believe that it will lose them customers. This petition will show Tesco that a large number of their customers DO care about this issue, and would be very happy to see offenders fined, immobilised or even banned.

Tesco - it is patently clear that you are not taking firm action (if any). The situation in your car parks around the UK proves this. Things need to change.
